Long Weekend Fun

Don't you just hate going back to work after a long 3 day weekend? I do! It was hard to get up this morning, so hard that I hit snooze too many times and the girls didn't get up either. So all hell broke loose! LOL. We managed to get out the door in time so that's good. I had to stop and get a capacino this morning, I wouldn't have made it. I was busy today so it made the day go by and hey tomorrow is Wednesday! I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! We had a good weekend. Andy had to work Saturday so I dropped the girls off at a movie and Emilee and I did laundry and played outside, did some grocery shopping ect. Sunday we went to Bay Beach for a couple of hours and then Andy did some BBQ on the grill. Watched a family movie. Yesterday we went to my grandparents for a BBQ and everyone was there. Was nice to visit and hang out. One of the things I absolutely LOVE about this time of year and being here. Emilee was outside ALL day and ALL night. It's not going to be easy to keep her inside this summer, which is a good thing! The schools get out of school June 10th so they are excited. Going to be going into High School in the fall so I can really WAIT for that. I hope her have a LONG summer!

I hope everyone had a great relaxing weekend. Thanks for checking in! Enjoy the pictures from Bay Beach and Memorial Day BBQ

Vacation Over

It's been awhile since I've posted. Mainly because I have been running around crazy busy. First things First I was sooo sick a few weeks ago. I had a trip to the Dells planned with some girlfriends of mine and I had gotten sick about a week before we were supposed to leave. That's enough time to be sick and get better correct? WRONG! I got sick on a Friday and by the following Friday when we were leaving I was still not better. In fact I spent the entire day Saturday and Saturday night in bed. Horrible Migraine and a Sinus infection. Of course I was on antibiotics but turns out I was allergic. That's just my luck, and once again I was sick on a trip. By the time I was to leave for AZ I was 100% better. Yeah for me! WRONG! Emilee was not feeling good. Her and I were leaving on the 8th to fly to AZ and spend mother's day with my mom and then head to Disneyland with my sister and her husband. We took of in Green Bay and got to Chicago ok. Emilee wouldn't eat anything that morning and by the time we were in Chicago she had gone to the bathroom alot. Well when we took off in Chicago to head to Phoenix, she threw up on my about 15 minutes into the flight. I don't know if it was the taking off and stuff that triggered it but she then slept on me the entire flight. After we landed and got into the airport she was fine. Go figure. Anyway after we were done with that she was good, I was good. We had a great time in AZ. I miss everyone back there but the one thing I don't miss.... THE HEAT. Now I probably sound like I'm whining but don't get me wrong it was nice but 104,105 is not anything I miss. I don't think I could ever live there but If I did I would manage. Just like I manage here with the COLD winters. We surprised my mom on Friday night with our arrival. She thought we were not coming in until Monday! My GOOD friend Betty and her daughter picked us up from the airport, which was great. Cried like a baby! Miss you Betty...
It only took a little bit for Emilee to warm up to everyone, but everyone got to see her "sassy" little self and attitude. Monday afternoon we headed for California. The ride was long but Emilee did good and the weather was GREAT! Emilee had a great time in Disneyland and I'm glad she was able to go. We also went to Huntington Beach for a little bit on the way home. That was really cool. Now we came home this past Sunday. So yesterday it was back to work and ugh that's never any fun. I'm just glad we have a 3 day weekend ahead! Also I
came back to Andy and the girls. They all survived, but the girls are getting ready to get out of 8th grade and start High School. I better have alot of alcohol to get through this! LOL.
Anyway I will wrap this up and say thanks to everyone in AZ for everything and we had a great time. Here are a few pics from our trip.
